LIMITmarker F-A

The LIMITmarker® F-A is a single-use indicator that provides an easy-to-read, irreversible visual signal when there has been exposure to a temperature above the threshold limit. LIMITmarker technology is based on the precise melting of heat-fusible materials at specified temperatures.

When the indicator temperature remains at or below 8°C, the small window in the blue rectangle remains white (Fig. 1).

When exposed to temperatures at and above 10°C for 2 hours or less, the white window becomes pink or red (Fig. 1). The appearance of any pink or red in the window means that the indicator has reached endpoint.

  • Response Temperature
  • Response Time
    2 hours
  • Accuracy
    within 1°C
  • Shelf Life
    4 years
  • Size
    35 x 22 mm
  • Application

Placed on product or product unit box. Pressure-sensitive adhesive, for flat surface applications.

For LIMITmarker, Response Time is time above the upper limit of tolerance. The upper limit of tolerance is the response temperature plus the accuracy, e.g. 9°C ± 1°C has an upper limit of tolerance of 9 + 1, or 10°C.
